Kalaripayattam Masters use their hands, feet, fingers, thumbs as well as natural herbs that heal and reduce inflammation and pain. Ayurvedic Marma Massage – Ayurveda’s version of acupressure, a therapeutic massage that releases muscle soreness. It is the Ayurvedic version of Accupressure and uses 107 vital marma points, that are gently massaged in a circular stroke then pressed to release pain.
Ayurveda Head Therapies

Ayurvedic Head Therapies include Shiro dhara, Shiro basti, Shiro Pichu and Shiro abhyanga.
Shirodhara involves gently pouring herbal oil or decoction over ajna chakra on the forehead (the ‘third eye’). Used in sukhachikitsa (restorative therapy) as part of Panchakarma. Complmentary to Cranio Sacral Therapy, Shirodhara assists in treating eye diseases, sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, greying of hair, neurological disorders, memory loss, insomnia, hearing impairment, tinnitus, vertigo, and neuro-muscular disorders.
